Air Conditioning Label Printing

Air conditioning label printing: three things engineers ask first

Which label goes on which unit?

Stick an Air Conditioning Service Label on the indoor head or the condenser, so the customer knows when you came, when you are back and what number to call. Any system holding fluorinated gas gets an F-Gas Label showing the refrigerant, the charge and the CO2 equivalent. For air and ground source heat pumps, the Heat Pump Service Label does the same job as the AC one.

Paper or polypropylene?

For air conditioning label printing, gloss paper is fine for a cassette in an office ceiling or a unit in a dry comms room. Matt paper takes a biro, so you can fill in dates on the spot. Anything outside, in a loft or in a plant room that sweats in August wants the waterproof white polypropylene with a matt laminate.

What size?

Air conditioning label printing is small on purpose. Service labels come in 76 x 51 mm or 96 x 68 mm. F-Gas labels come in 96 x 68 mm or a roomier 110 x 75 mm, which helps when you want the charge readable by torchlight. Heat pump labels come in 96 x 68 mm or 76 x 51 mm.

What goes on the label

Every air conditioning label printing order carries your company name and phone number, at the very least. You can add a registration or ID number as plain text if you want it there. We never print scheme or trade-body logos. A label is a reminder stuck to the kit, nothing more: it sits alongside your logbook, leak checks and paperwork and never stands in for them.

The rest of the kit: van, pocket and clipboard

Air conditioning label printing is only part of what this page covers.

• On the van. Magnetic van signs in A2 and car door magnets in A3 or A2, all on 900µ magnetic sheeting. Peel them off when the van is off duty.
• In your pocket. Business cards at 85 x 55 mm on 350gsm or 450gsm silk, for the customer who asks about a second unit for the bedroom.
• On the clipboard. NCR invoice books and NCR pads in A6, A5 or A4, in 2, 3 or 4 part with 50 sets each, for job sheets, invoices and receipts.
• Chasing the summer rush. Flyers from A7 up to A3, and door hangers at 70 × 200 mm on 350gsm card for the street where you just fitted three units.
• Office bits. Letterheads, compliment slips, printed envelopes and a self-inking company stamp for the paperwork that follows every install.

Sorting the artwork

You have three routes. Upload a print-ready file, build one in the free online designer, or hand it over to our paid artwork service. Whichever you pick for your air conditioning label printing, a real person checks every uploaded file for free. Read the phone number twice anyway: one wrong digit on a roll of labels means a season of missed callbacks. File tips are in the artwork guidelines.

Timings and delivery

Every product runs to its own clock. Across this trade page, standard production sits between 3 and 10 working days, express starts from 2 working days on the quickest items, and saver suits a big restock you can wait for. The product page shows the exact figure before you pay, so plan air conditioning label printing around your next batch of installs.
