Heras Fence Printed Banners

Heras fence printed banners turn a dull line of temporary fencing into something that says who is behind it: the builder's name on a housing site, the sponsors at a fun run, the car park arrows at a summer fair. Two products fit Heras panels and one fits crowd barriers. The choice that matters most is mesh, which lets the wind through, or PVC, which gives a solid, brighter print.

Heras Fence & Barrier Banners (heras fence printed banners)

Heras fence printed banners, and where they earn their keep

Heras fencing goes up everywhere: round a school extension over the summer holidays, along the edge of a festival field, in front of a shop being gutted. On its own, it is a wall of wire that tells passers-by nothing. Tie a banner across it and the same panel carries your company name, a site notice, a sponsor's logo or the way to the entrance. That is the whole idea behind heras fence printed banners.

If you need this, pick that

Mesh, PVC or PVC-free?

A fence full of solid banners acts like a sail, and every panel takes the weather. 260gsm mesh has tiny holes that let the wind pass through, so it suits exposed runs. 440gsm PVC is solid, with brighter colours, and is best for short events or protected spots. 400gsm PVC-free is the option if you'd rather skip PVC. Crowd Barrier Banners come in all three. On the mesh heras fence printed banners, you choose metal or plastic eyelets. The PVC or mesh banner guide goes deeper.

Sizes for heras fence printed banners

The mesh banner is a full Heras panel, 10 ft 10 in × 5 ft 11 in (3300 × 1800 mm). The PVC banner comes as a full panel at 3300 × 1800 mm, or 9 ft 10 in × 4 ft 11 in (3000 × 1500 mm), 6 ft 7 in × 3 ft 3 in (2000 × 1000 mm), or a custom size.

Crowd Barrier Banners come in 7 ft 3 in × 2 ft 7 in (2200 × 800 mm), 6 ft 7 in × 3 ft 3 in (2000 × 1000 mm), 7 ft 7 in × 3 ft 3 in (2300 × 1000 mm) or custom. Live PVC prices are in the size table near the top of the page.

A full panel gives you a billboard. A 2000 × 1000 mm banner fits a name, a logo and a phone number with room to spare. Barriers vary, so measure yours first and go custom if they don't match.

Artwork that reads from the road

  • Rule of thumb: every 3 metres your reader stands back needs roughly 25 mm of capital height.
  • Leave a 50 mm margin all round so an eyelet never lands in a letter.
  • On mesh, skip hairline fonts and tiny text, which break up close to.
  • Work at full size or 1:10 scale. Photos only need 100 to 150 dpi, measured at full size.

Heras Fence & Barrier Banners: questions answered

What size banner covers a whole Heras panel?

A full-panel Heras banner measures 3300 by 1800 mm and can be mesh or PVC. The PVC version also comes in two smaller sizes, 3 m by 1.5 m and 2 m by 1 m, and you can enter your own measurements if your panels differ.

For a school building project, is mesh or PVC better on the Heras?

Go for mesh if the fencing is exposed and staying up for weeks, because wind passes through it and the eyelets and ties take far less strain. PVC or PVC-free makes sense in a sheltered spot or for a short event, where you want the boldest colours and crispest detail.

How do we tie a banner onto Heras fencing?

Put a cable tie through each eyelet so the banner sits tight against the panel. If it is slack it will flap, and if it is pulled too hard the corners can rip, so aim for the same gentle tension all the way round.

What are crowd barrier banners for?

They are banners made to fit the metal crowd barriers used at fun runs, queues and matches. Choose 2200 x 800, 2000 x 1000 or 2300 x 1000 mm, or give your own size, in 440gsm PVC, 260gsm mesh or 400gsm PVC-free.

Can we use these on our school fence?

If the school has temporary Heras fencing up for building work, yes, these banners are sized for it. For the permanent railings around a school, the Fence Mesh Banners or the School and Education Banners suit better, because their stock sizes are made for rails.
