Sticker Sheets & Labels (label printing)

Label printing for small makers and busy counters

The honey seller at the Saturday market with a table full of jars. The candle maker packing orders on the kitchen table. The cafe that writes nothing on its takeaway lids because nobody has time. The PTA handing out sticker sheets at the school disco. All of them need a lot of small stickers that look the same, and label printing on sheets is how they get them.

Custom Sticker Sheets in detail

Custom Sticker Sheets are printed on white or transparent polypropylene, so they shrug off a splash from the washing up. Each sheet holds 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 stickers. Finish them with gloss, matt or soft touch lamination, or Labellife 3 anti-scratch varnish for stickers that get handled a lot. On the clear stock, selective white puts white ink behind chosen areas so colours stay solid instead of see-through. Mirrored printing flips the design so a sticker applied inside a window or a clear box reads correctly from outside.

Stickers on a Sheet in detail

Stickers on a Sheet is paper label printing in 18 ready-set shapes. Rectangles go from a slim 25 × 51 mm, handy for a price or a flavour, up to 94 × 140 mm for a proper product label. Circles run from 37 × 37 mm to 88 × 88 mm, and ovals from 50 × 37 mm to 90 × 136 mm. Pick matt if you want to write on them, gloss if you want colours to shine.

Choosing sizes for label printing

The size table near the top of the page shows the sheet sizes with live prices. For Stickers on a Sheet, hold a ruler against your jar or box before choosing a shape. A label that wraps too far round a small jar creases; one that's too small looks lost. If your product is curved, go slightly narrower than you think.

Artwork tips for label printing

  • Labels are read at arm's length, so use 300 dpi images and text you can read comfortably at actual size.
  • Keep words a few millimetres inside the cut line so nothing gets trimmed.
  • On transparent polypropylene, mark where white ink should go, or ask for help setting it up.
  • For mirrored stickers, send the artwork the right way round and choose mirrored printing in the options.
  • Print a copy at home at 100% and hold it against the product. It's the quickest reality check there is.

Upload a print-ready file, use the free online designer, or book our paid artwork service. A real person checks every uploaded file for free. Accepted file types are listed in the artwork guidelines.

Bigger stickers and the rest of the range

Sticker Sheets & Labels: questions answered

How many stickers can I fit on one sheet?

It depends on the product. Custom Sticker Sheets let you pick the count, anywhere from 10 to 50 stickers, on A5, A4 or A3 in either orientation. Stickers on a Sheet works the other way round: choose the label size, from 25 x 51 mm to 94 x 140 mm, then buy anything from 8 to 14,400 labels.

I only need a few stickers for a jam stall. What is the smallest order?

The smallest run of Stickers on a Sheet is just 8 labels, which suits a small stall. Custom Sticker Sheets begin at 25 sheets. And if all you want is one or two big stickers, our vinyl stickers can be bought singly.

Can stickers be printed on clear material?

Yes, choose transparent polypropylene on the Custom Sticker Sheets page. Add selective white where you want colours to stay solid against the clear background, and choose mirrored printing if the sticker will be read from the other side of glass or clear packaging.

What finish should I put on labels for my candles or jars?

Gloss lamination gives a shine and matt lamination a flat look. Soft touch has a smooth, velvety feel in the hand. For labels that get picked up and rubbed often, like on jars and bottles, Labellife 3 anti-scratch varnish helps them stay looking fresh.

Do Stickers on a Sheet come matt or shiny?

Your pick: the paper comes matt or gloss. If you plan to write prices or dates on them, matt takes a pen more easily and does not reflect light. For product and packaging labels, gloss brings out stronger colours.
