Why a stand needs a counter
A back wall does the shouting from across the hall. A counter does the talking. It puts your logo at waist height, right where a visitor stops, and gives your team somewhere to rest a tablet, a bowl of sweets and a stack of leaflets. Without one, staff hover awkwardly in front of the wall. With one, the stand looks finished. That's the job promotional counter printing is here to do.
Promotional counter printing: which shape?
- Visitors come from every side: the Oval Promotional Counter. Soft edges, no corners to bump into, good on an island stand or at a sampling point.
- You want a broad, flat front for a logo and a short message: the Rectangle Exhibition Counter. Suits info desks, kiosks and receptions.
- The space is tight: the Triangle Promotional Counter, the compact one for a corner or a narrow stand.
- You own a counter already: Promotional Counter Replacement Graphics in oval, triangle or rectangle.
Graphic and frame, or graphic only
Every counter is a printed stretch fabric cover pulled over a frame. Pick graphic and frame the first time. After that, the frame keeps going and only the cover needs changing when the branding does, so graphic only or replacement graphics make more sense. Promotional counter printing runs from 1 to 30 counters per order, handy for a brand dressing several stores for the same promotion or a team running stands at three shows in a month.
Every option, shape by shape, is in the size table near the top of the page with live prices, so you can compare a full counter with a cover on its own before you decide.
Matching the counter to the wall
A counter looks best when it clearly belongs to the stand behind it. Use the same colours, the same logo and the same logo position as your pop up display or fabric display wall. If you order promotional counter printing and a back wall together, design them side by side so nothing clashes.
Artwork tips for promotional counter printing
- Use the graphic template for your shape. Oval, rectangle and triangle covers are all different.
- Put the logo on the front face, high up, where someone walking past sees it. Nobody reads the bit by the floor.
- On the oval, keep text on the flatter front section and away from the tightest bends.
- Short and punchy wins. People read a counter in the second or two it takes to walk past.
Upload a print-ready file, make one in the free online designer, or use our paid artwork service. A real person checks every uploaded file for free. The artwork guidelines cover file types and resolution for fabric.
Timing and delivery
Standard production is 8 working days, express from 6 working days and saver 10, counted from when your order and artwork are confirmed. Plan promotional counter printing back from the show date, not forward from today. Everything is made to order and dispatched from the UK.
UK mainland delivery is £7.95, free on orders of £100 or more after discounts (artwork fees excluded). Mainland Highlands add £10. Northern Ireland, the Scottish islands, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, the Isles of Scilly and the Isle of Wight are quoted. Items over 3 m on any side add £15. See the delivery page.
More for the stand
Counters sit well with cardboard totems at the stand edge and a printed back wall. For larger runs of promotional counter printing across several sites, or a shape we don't list, get a quote.
Promotional Counters: questions answered
Which counter shape works best on our stand?
Think about how people reach you. Visitors coming from all sides suit the rounded oval. A rectangle has the broadest flat face, which shows off a logo well. Tight corners and small pitches are where the triangle earns its place.
Can I just replace the printed cover on a counter we own?
Yes. New stretch fabric covers are sold for all three shapes, and every counter listing also lets you pick Graphic Only. Just check your frame is the same shape as the cover you choose.
How many counters can I order at once?
Any number from one to thirty of each counter. Handy when a charity, a franchise or a sales team wants identical counters at several events on the same weekend.
How long does it take to make an exhibition counter?
Counted from artwork confirmation, allow 8 working days on standard. Paying for express brings it to 6, and choosing saver stretches it to 10. Book early when a show is in the diary, as delivery comes after that.
