What are order of service booklets?

An order of service does a quiet, important job. It tells people when to stand, what to sing and who is speaking, and for a funeral it often goes home in a coat pocket and stays in a drawer for years. These booklets are printed on 90gsm premium smooth white paper, cover included, with no lamination, so the whole booklet feels light and consistent in the hand.

Pick a shape and a page count

A5 portrait. The traditional booklet shape. Easy to hold while singing and fits a hymn neatly on a page.
A5 landscape. Wider pages, good for a large photograph or a timeline of someone's life.

Pages come in 8, 12, 16, 20 or 24. As a rough guide, 8 pages covers a cover photo, the running order, a hymn or two and a thank you on the back. 16 to 24 pages leaves room for readings, a eulogy, more photos and a few words from the family.

How many to order

Quantities run 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200 and 250. Count the guests you expect, then add a handful for the people who arrive unannounced and for family who want spares to keep. A small crematorium service might need 50; a busy church funeral or a large wedding might need 200.
