Paper weights in business stationery printing

Paper weight is measured in gsm: the bigger the number, the thicker and stiffer the sheet. Around 90 to 120gsm is letterhead and desk pad territory. 130 to 170gsm suits flyers, folded leaflets and booklet pages. 250 to 300gsm is postcard and booklet cover weight. 350gsm and up is business card, folder and door hanger weight. Silk is smooth with a low sheen, gloss is shinier and makes photos pop, and uncoated feels like good paper and takes a biro. Most products start at short runs, so you can order a few and come back for more. The size table near the top of the page shows live prices for popular options.

Artwork for business stationery printing

Send a print-ready PDF at the finished size with 3 mm bleed on every edge and text at least 3 mm inside the trim. Stamps need no file at all: type your lines on the product page. Don't have a design? Use the free online designer, or book the Artwork and Design Service (typesetting from your text, design from a brief, or a logo redraw), which includes 1 design and 2 rounds of changes. Production times vary a lot across the range, and NCR books take longer than most, so each product page shows its own production days, counted in working days from when your order and artwork are confirmed. Everything is made to order and dispatched from the UK. UK mainland delivery is £7.95, free on orders of £100 or more after discounts (artwork fees excluded). Mainland Highlands add £10.
