Chains, slings and hoists

Thorough Examination (LOLER) Labels go on lifting equipment and accessories to show when the last thorough examination happened and when the next is due. 76 x 51 mm or 96 x 68 mm. The rigger picking a sling off the rack can see at a glance whether it's in date.

Ladders and steps

Ladder Inspection Labels record the ladder ID, the date it was checked and the next check. 62 x 33 mm or 76 x 51 mm, small enough to sit on a stile.

Test instruments and tools

Equipment Inspection & Calibration Labels mark the last inspection or calibration date on meters, gauges, torque wrenches and the like. 51 x 25 mm or 62 x 33 mm. Asset Labels are numbered "property of" labels with your company name, in the same two sizes, so the drill that walked off to another site finds its way home.

Anything that fails

Do Not Use / Out of Service Labels are red labels that take kit out of use until it has been repaired and checked. 96 x 68 mm or 110 x 75 mm, big enough to spot from across the stores. Worth adding to any inspection label printing order, because sooner or later something fails.

Paper or polypropylene?

With inspection label printing, the material matters more than people think. Gloss paper is fine on clean kit in a dry office or lab. Matt paper takes a pen, so the inspector can add a date and initials on the spot. For slings, ladders and tools that live in vans, yards and damp warehouses, pick waterproof white polypropylene with a matt laminate.

Every inspection label printing order carries your company name and phone number, with a registration or ID number as plain text if you want it. We never print scheme or trade-body logos. A label is a visible record of dates and contacts. It supports your examination reports and inspection records and never replaces them.

Signs for the warehouse floor
