What is a save the date card?

Save the date printing at FatPrint turns your engagement photo or simple date design into a sturdy card that guests pin to the fridge. Couples sending save the date cards months before the invites, and families announcing a 60th abroad, use it to get the date in diaries early.

Card choices

Eight stocks let you match the save the date to the wedding style.

350gsm silk card or 300gsm smooth white card: clean and crisp.
250gsm gloss or 250gsm silk: lighter, with a coated finish for photos.
300gsm natural uncoated and 300gsm textured uncoated: matt and tactile.
350gsm recycled uncoated: natural and matt.
300gsm brown kraft: brown and rustic.

Printed sides and finish

Print the front only, or both sides with the photo on the front and the details on the back. Lamination is none, or gloss on the front to make a photo shine. Uncoated and kraft cards look best left unlaminated.

What is the minimum order for save the date cards?

25 cards. You can also order 50, 100, 250, 500, 1,000 or 2,000.

Do save the date cards come with envelopes?

Envelopes are not one of the options on this product, so the order covers the printed cards only.

Can I put a photo on the front and details on the back?

Yes. Choose printed both sides and set the photo and wording out that way in your artwork. Gloss lamination on the front helps a photo shine.

Can I send you my own save the date design?
