Gable Boxes

Gable box printing gives you a box that doubles as a bag. The top rises to a peak, so the box can be carried rather than tucked under an arm. Bakeries use them for cupcakes, shops use them for gift sets, and event planners fill them with goodies for guests.

The basics

Every gable box is made from 380gsm Technodesign board and comes in one fixed die-cut size. Printing is on the outside of the box only, so the inside stays plain. That keeps the focus on the outer design, where people actually look.

Lamination

• Matte outer only. Low sheen and understated.
• Soft touch outer only. A velvety feel in the hand that suits gifts and premium treats.
• Gloss outer only. Bright and shiny, good for colourful party designs.
• None. The printed board as it comes.

Coatings for a bit of sparkle

On top of lamination you can add a coating. Selective varnish picks out chosen parts of your design, such as a logo, with a sheen. Gold coating and silver coating give a metallic look. Extra-thick varnish adds a heavier layer you can see and feel. Or choose none and keep it simple.

Start at 25, 50 or 100 for a one-off event, or go to 300, 500, 1,000 and on up to 10,000 for regular retail use.
