What are hexagonal gift boxes?
Hexagonal gift box printing is for when a square box feels too ordinary. Six sides catch the eye on a shelf or a table, and they make even a small gift feel considered. Chocolatiers, candle makers and wedding planners like them for exactly that reason.
The box
Each box is made from 380gsm Technodesign board in one fixed die-cut size, so there is no size to choose. Your artwork is printed on the outside of the box.
Lamination
- Soft touch outer only. Smooth and velvety, the one people stroke when they pick it up.
- Matte outer only. Understated and modern.
- Gloss outer only. Shiny, with bright colours.
- None. Printed board with no lamination.
Coatings
For extra polish, add a gold coating or silver coating for a metallic look, or an extra-thick varnish for a heavier finish you can feel. A soft touch box with gold works well for luxury gifts. Choose none if you want the print to speak for itself.
