What are hanging window boxes?

Hanging window box printing is for products that live on a peg rather than a shelf. Think the hook displays by a till, on a garden centre stand or along a shop aisle. The box hangs at eye level, the window shows what is inside, and your print does the rest.

How the box works

A hanging box has a tab at the top so it can go onto a display hook. This one also has an open window, a cut-out in the board, so customers can see the product without opening anything. It is made from 380gsm Technodesign board in one fixed die-cut size, so there are no size options to choose.

Print and finish

Printing is on the outside of the box only. Then choose your lamination:

Matte outer only. Soft and low sheen, good for natural or handmade products.
Gloss outer only. Shiny and bright under shop lighting.
None. Unlaminated board for a plainer look.

What goes in them

Small, light items that sell on impulse. A phone accessory brand hanging cables and chargers. A craft brand with packs of buttons or beads. A pet shop selling toys and treats. A cosmetics brand stocking lip balms in a pharmacy. If a shop has asked you for hang-sell packaging, this is the box for it.

Quantities

Order 100, 300, 500, 1,000 and then every thousand up to 10,000. Brands that stock several lines often order a run per product, each with its own artwork.
