Overview
Printed bollard covers make use of something most sites already have and ignore: the bollards. A petrol forecourt, a retail park entrance or a showground gate might have a dozen of them in a line, each one a blank surface at the height of a car bumper. Wrap them and that line becomes a run of signs.
About the photo: it shows a flat Correx board on a post as an example of the material. Your cover goes round the bollard and is printed with your own design.
Good jobs for a bollard cover
- A retail park putting its store logos on the posts by the entrance.
- A petrol station marking the car wash lane.
- A fun run or county show pointing visitors to parking, toilets and first aid.
- A school car park reminding drivers to slow down.
Measure first, then pick A or B
This is the step people skip. Covers come in two fixed sizes, Bollards A and Bollards B, so measure the height and diameter of your bollard before you order. Then choose the options:
- Material. 3.5mm Correx, a fluted plastic board that is light and waterproof.
- Sides printed. Single or double sided, depending on whether the cover is seen from one direction or both.
- Creasing and drilling, each yes or no, to help the board fold round the post and fix in place.
- Quantity. 1 to 40 one at a time, then 50, 60, 70, 80 or 90.
Printed bollard covers: artwork and timing
Keep the design bold. People see a bollard from a moving car or while walking past, so a logo, an arrow and two or three words work far better than a paragraph. Upload a print-ready file, use the free online designer, or book the paid artwork service; a person checks every uploaded file for free. Production is 10 working days after your order and artwork are confirmed.
Safety messages
If a cover carries a warning, such as watching for pedestrians in a delivery yard, remember the Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996. They require employers to provide safety signs where a risk cannot be avoided or controlled another way, using set colours and shapes, which the safety sign colours guide explains.
Covers are made to order and dispatched from the UK. UK mainland delivery is £7.95, free on orders of £100 or more after discounts; see delivery. For more street and event Correx beyond printed bollard covers, see street and event Correx.

Questions
Quick answers about printed bollard covers.
The bollards in our car park are a bit chunky. How do I check these covers will go round them?
Get a tape measure on one of your bollards first. The size choices, Bollards A and Bollards B, are listed in the options on this page, so compare their measurements with yours before you order.
How do I find out what my Correx sign will cost?
Choose the options on this page and the total updates straight away. It opens on the cheapest combination, £32.03. What the page shows is what you pay for the goods at checkout.
Is there a discount if I buy more?
Usually, yes: the more you order, the less each one tends to cost. Anything from 1 up to 90 is priced on this page for your printed bollard cover order. Postage to the UK mainland is £7.95 per basket, not per item, and free when your goods total £100 or more.
Do you check the design I upload?
Every upload is looked at by a person first, and nothing is printed until it passes. If anything needs fixing on your printed bollard cover order, we tell you before it is made. Paid help is there too: a clean layout from your text and logo (£15), a design from your brief (£35) or a logo redraw (£30), each with one first draft and two rounds of changes.
Is anything added to the price of my printed bollard cover order at checkout?
Only delivery, where it applies. What the page shows is what you pay for the goods at checkout. The £32.03 starting price for your printed bollard cover order is the full price of the goods. Mainland UK delivery adds £7.95 to the basket, and nothing once the goods reach £100 after any discount code.
What is the turnaround on my printed bollard cover order?
Every service level (Saver, Standard and Express) takes 10 working days before it ships. The clock starts once your order is placed and the file is confirmed. Goods worth £100 or more travel free to a UK mainland address; below that, delivery is a flat £7.95 for the whole order.
Asked by buyers
How cheaply can I get hold of Printed Bollard Covers?
Picked the way the page first loads, with yes, single Sided and 3.5mm Correx, Printed Bollard Covers come to £32.03. Any other mix of options, a faster turnaround included, gets its own price the moment you choose it, and that figure is what you pay at checkout. Only delivery is left to add. On its own the opening price of £32.03 would add £7.95 for mainland delivery; reach £100 of goods and that goes to zero.
Is there an extra charge for sending a large item like Printed Bollard Covers?
No extra. The £15 oversize charge never applies to our street Correx range (lamp-post wraps, bollard covers, fence tops and the triangles made for A-boards), so Printed Bollard Covers go at the standard rate. Delivery anywhere on the UK mainland is £7.95 an order, and it costs nothing once the goods come to £100 or more after any discount code (design and artwork fees are not counted). We price delivery first for Northern Ireland and for the Isle of Wight, the Channel Islands, Scilly, the Scottish islands and the Isle of Man; Highland addresses on the mainland just pay £10 extra, one time per order.
Which turnaround speeds can I choose for Printed Bollard Covers?
Allow 10 working days on Saver, 10 on Standard or 10 on Express before Printed Bollard Covers are handed to the courier, based on the options the page opens with. Weekends and bank holidays are not counted, and nothing starts until the order is paid and the artwork is confirmed. Pick another size or material and the days beside each speed update, sometimes by a day. After it leaves us, the courier normally delivers in one to three working days and you get the tracking link by email.
Is delivery extra on top of the price of Printed Bollard Covers?
Send it to a UK mainland address for a flat £7.95, or for free when the goods in the basket add up to £100 or more after discounts; artwork and design charges do not count towards that. An order of just this at the opening price of £32.03 is under £100, so it pays the £7.95. We price delivery first for Northern Ireland and for the Isle of Wight, the Channel Islands, Scilly, the Scottish islands and the Isle of Man; Highland addresses on the mainland just pay £10 extra, one time per order.
Which artwork services are offered with Printed Bollard Covers?
Several routes, all chosen under Artwork on this page. Send your own finished file (no charge), we set your words and logo on a tidy layout, called typesetting (£15), we design it from your brief (£35), we redraw a blurry or low quality logo as sharp vector art (£30) or we create a brand new logo (£50). Typesetting and design from a brief each come with one first draft and two rounds of changes. The fee is the same whatever quantity you order and shows separately in the basket. For these Correx signs, the material can be 5mm Correx, 5.5mm Correx or 3.5mm Correx.
What material are these Correx signs?
Think of the boards you see at car boot sales, school fetes, open houses and elections: that is Correx. It is fluted polypropylene, a plastic sheet with hollow channels running through it, which keeps it light, stiff and waterproof. Available for Printed Bollard Covers as 3.5mm, 5mm or 5.5mm Correx.
How big or small can Printed Bollard Covers be?
The table has 2 sizes. At the small end, Bollards B (703 × 1482 mm) costs from £32.03; at the top, Bollards A (988 × 1482 mm) costs from £32.03. Each figure is for the cheapest set of options at that size. Unsure? Measure where it will go and check the view from the spot people will stand.
Are we allowed to cable tie these Correx signs to lamp posts for our event?
Only if you have permission. Lamp posts, bollards and railings, and the road itself, are council property, and plenty of councils either license signs on them or ban them outright. Check with your council before anything goes up, and remove every sign once the event has finished. On your own land, or where the landowner has said yes, Printed Bollard Covers can go up without most of these worries.
I am not a business. Can I buy just one of these Correx signs?
Of course. Anyone can order, with no trade account and no minimum beyond one. Prices for Printed Bollard Covers begin at £32.03, checkout works without an account and you pay by card. Parents, clubs, churches and small shops order single items all the time. On its own the opening price of £32.03 would add £7.95 for mainland delivery; reach £100 of goods and that goes to zero.
How much for the biggest size, Bollards A (988 × 1482 mm)?
From £32.03, with the cheapest settings and the Saver service. Add £7.95 for UK mainland delivery, or nothing at all once the goods reach £100. Select it on the page and swap materials, finishes and speed to watch how the figure moves.
We are signposting a sponsored walk. How many Correx signs will we need?
Count the decision points: every junction or fork on the route needs one, plus the start and the end. Add a few spares, because some always get damaged or disappear. Quantities go from 1 up to 90 and each price is a total, so divide by the number of signs to compare. Sizes for these Correx signs go from Bollards B (703 × 1482 mm) at the small end to Bollards A (988 × 1482 mm), 2 in all.
Could the total go up after I reach the checkout?
No surprises: what the page shows for these Correx signs is the goods figure you pay at checkout. Delivery is the one extra, £7.95 to a UK mainland address, and it drops away when the goods reach £100 after discounts. Paid artwork help shows up as its own basket line, so you can check each amount before paying. Before delivery, these Correx signs cost from £32.03.
How many Printed Bollard Covers can I buy at one time?
Anything from 1 to 90. The quantity choices on the page run 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, and upwards. The figure shown is for the whole batch, not for one, so divide it by the number you picked to see the cost of each. If you need more than 90, send the size, number and date through our Get a quote page. Before delivery, these Correx signs cost from £32.03.
Do you send to Northern Ireland or the islands?
Yes, anywhere in the UK, though the price differs by area. A Highlands postcode on the mainland pays the usual rate plus a single £10 for the order, and that £10 still applies when the rest of the delivery is free. Northern Ireland gets a price worked out first, as do the Isle of Wight, the Channel Islands, Scilly, the Scottish islands and the Isle of Man: send your postcode through our Get a quote page or the Contact page. We cannot send anything outside the UK. Before delivery, these Correx signs cost from £32.03.
Our event is close. Can Printed Bollard Covers be rushed?
Yes. Choose Express and Printed Bollard Covers can be on the way in 10 working days on the opening option, for £37.10, where Saver is £32.03 and takes 10 days. Then give the courier one to three working days, and send the artwork with the order, because the clock does not run until the file is sorted. If the date is really tight, message us on the Contact page before paying and we will tell you honestly.
How many pixels does a photo need to print well on these Correx signs?
Big items seen from a distance only need 100 to 150 dpi at full size. So a Bollards A (988 × 1482 mm) layout wants about 3,890 by 5,835 pixels. Keep lettering and logos as vectors if you can. An image copied off a web page or a social post rarely has enough pixels; if yours looks likely to print soft, our file check flags it.
Someone else is putting our file together. How does it reach you?
Easiest route: they send the finished file to whoever placed the order, and it gets uploaded after ordering. Up to 3 files of 25 MB each are fine. They can also reach us through the Contact page, as long as they quote your order number so it lands on the right job. Production waits for the checked file, so a late file means a later dispatch date. For these Correx signs, the material can be 5mm Correx, 5.5mm Correx or 3.5mm Correx.
I am not a designer. What if the file I send turns out to be unusable?
That is why a person looks at every upload before anything is printed. Typical snags are a document at the wrong size, missing bleed, blurry photos and words sitting too near the trim. If we spot one, we explain what to change and you send a fresh file. Or hand it over to us: for £15 our typesetting places your wording and logo on a neat layout, with one first draft and two rounds of changes. Make the artwork for these Correx signs the same size as the one you order, such as Bollards B (703 × 1482 mm).
Will anyone look at my file before it is printed?
Yes, a real person on our team opens every uploaded file and checks the size, the bleed and the resolution. If something is off, you hear from us before anything is made. We print what you send, though, so read the spelling, numbers and dates yourself as well. Making starts when the order and the file are both confirmed. Make the artwork for these Correx signs the same size as the one you order, such as Bollards B (703 × 1482 mm).
Can I send a Word or Canva file for Printed Bollard Covers?
Word, PowerPoint and Canva are a fair place to start, but export a high quality PDF from them before uploading. Our first choice is always a PDF at the ordered size with fonts embedded or outlined, followed by AI, EPS or SVG, then high resolution JPG, PNG or TIFF. You can add three files, each up to 25 MB, on this page, or upload them after ordering from the email we send. Sizes for these Correx signs go from Bollards B (703 × 1482 mm) at the small end to Bollards A (988 × 1482 mm), 2 in all.
How do I pick the right material for Printed Bollard Covers?
It is what your design gets printed onto. For Printed Bollard Covers the list runs 5mm Correx, 5.5mm Correx or 3.5mm Correx. Try each one on the page: the figure changes as you click, so the cost of every choice is clear.
Sides Printed on Printed Bollard Covers: how do the choices differ?
The sides printed option has 2 settings: single Sided or double Sided. One side means the design appears on the front only. Two sides puts print on both faces, handy when people approach from either direction, for example a flag on a pole or a sign that faces two ways. Switch between them on the page and the total updates straight away, so you can see what each one adds. For these Correx signs, the material can be 5mm Correx, 5.5mm Correx or 3.5mm Correx.
Can you explain the creasing setting for Printed Bollard Covers?
The creasing option has 2 settings: yes or no. Creasing scores a line into heavier stock first, so the fold comes out neat and the ink does not split along it. Switch between them on the page and the total updates straight away, so you can see what each one adds. For these Correx signs, the material can be 5mm Correx, 5.5mm Correx or 3.5mm Correx.
Who uses Correx signs such as the Printed Bollard Covers, and for what?
Think events and campaigns: open days, fairs, diversions for an event, arrows pointing the way. The Correx board is waterproof, light and low cost, which is ideal for something up for a few days or weeks. Lamp posts, railings and bollards on public land are not yours to use freely, so get permission first. For these Correx signs, the material can be 5mm Correx, 5.5mm Correx or 3.5mm Correx.
How many weeks will these Correx signs stay looking good outdoors?
Rain is no trouble for Printed Bollard Covers: Correx cannot rot and does not take in water. What ages it is sunlight and knocks, which is why it is sold as a temporary sign, good for a season of events rather than several years. For something that stays up for good, such as a club house name board, choose Dibond instead.
Does the drilling option I choose make a difference to Printed Bollard Covers?
With drilling, the corners arrive with holes already made, so the board can go straight up with screws or cable ties and you never need to get the drill out. For Printed Bollard Covers the list runs yes or no. Try each one on the page: the figure changes as you click, so the cost of every choice is clear.
How do Correx boards go up on railings, or on a stake in the grass?
Railings: have Printed Bollard Covers drilled and use cable ties, two along the top edge and two along the bottom so it stays still in the wind. Grass: feed a garden cane or wooden stake into a flute along the base, then tap it into the ground.
How would I decide between Lamp Post Toblerone Signs and Printed Bollard Covers?
Set Printed Bollard Covers beside Lamp Post Toblerone Signs and a few things differ. Sizes: 2 on this page, the smallest Bollards B (703 × 1482 mm), and only Lamp post toblerones on the other. Opening price: £32.03 on this page and £20.73 on the other. Go by the spot it is going in and how long it needs to last, then open both pages and compare the live totals.
Where do Printed Bollard Covers and Venue Arrow Signs differ?
Comparing Printed Bollard Covers with Venue Arrow Signs, this is what changes. Sizes: 2 on this page, the smallest Bollards B (703 × 1482 mm), and only Venue Arrows on the other. Opening price: £32.03 on this page and £3.76 on the other. Go by the spot it is going in and how long it needs to last, then open both pages and compare the live totals.
Should I get Printed Bollard Covers, or would Lamp Post Wraps suit me better?
Comparing Printed Bollard Covers with Lamp Post Wraps, this is what changes. Sizes: 2 on this page, the smallest Bollards B (703 × 1482 mm), and 3 on the other, the smallest Raised Lamp Post Wrap. Opening price: £32.03 on this page and £16.14 on the other. Go by the spot it is going in and how long it needs to last, then open both pages and compare the live totals.
Who looks after me once I have bought Printed Bollard Covers?
FatPrint does, from start to finish. We take your order and payment, a person on our team checks your file, and Printed Bollard Covers are made to order for you rather than taken off a shelf. It then goes to you by courier, with tracking sent by email. Questions before or after ordering go through the box on this page or the Contact page, and a person replies.
Our club needs a big batch of Correx signs, or an odd size. Can you price it?
Yes. Fill in our Get a quote page, giving the size, how many, the material, when you need them and the delivery postcode, and attach your artwork if it is ready. A price comes back to you by email. Get a quote is also how delivery to Northern Ireland and the islands gets priced. Before delivery, these Correx signs cost from £32.03.
Do I pay delivery on each item in my basket?
No. One delivery charge covers the whole basket, so adding Printed Bollard Covers to other items does not add a second one. It is £7.95 to a UK mainland address and nothing once the goods total £100 after any discount code. Using the same design on two items? Pick the reuse-artwork option on the second one and you pay the artwork fee just once. Each line keeps its own size and quantity.
Next year we will want the same Correx sign again. Is reordering easy?
Very. Choose the same product with the same options and upload the same file, and it is made again exactly as before. Save the final print file somewhere safe, as that makes a repeat order a two-minute job. Before you repeat it, read the wording again: dates, prices, opening times and contact details are the things that go out of date. Before delivery, these Correx signs cost from £32.03.
Our treasurer needs a receipt for the accounts. What do we get?
Keep the order confirmation email we send: it itemises the purchase and the payment, and works as a plain receipt for your records. The total at checkout for these Correx signs is the goods price on the page plus delivery, so the email matches what left the account. Need something more formal for an audit or a grant claim? Message us from the Contact page with your order number. Nothing is printed ahead of time: each Correx sign is made to order for you.
Can I send these Correx signs back if I no longer need them?
If they arrive faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, yes: under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 we reprint or refund. A change of mind is different. Each order is made to your specification, and reg. 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 takes those goods out of the 14-day right to cancel. Before production starts, though, you can cancel for all your money back. Before delivery, these Correx signs cost from £32.03.
Do I have to register before I can buy?
There is no need to sign up. Pay as a guest with a bank card, handled securely by Stripe, and you still get an order confirmation email and a tracking email on dispatch. An account is optional; it just keeps your order history in one place. Sizes for these Correx signs go from Bollards B (703 × 1482 mm) at the small end to Bollards A (988 × 1482 mm), 2 in all.
The parcel turned up damaged. How do I sort it out?
Take photos of the damage and the box it came in, then send them through the contact form within 48 hours of delivery, with your order number. Hold on to the item rather than posting it back; we reply and arrange a reprint or refund. This sits alongside your legal rights, which the returns page covers. Choose Saver and these Correx signs leave us after 10 working days.
Should I send my file as RGB or CMYK?
CMYK if you can. An RGB file gets converted to CMYK for printing, and vivid greens, blues and oranges may lose a little brightness on the way. Have a Pantone number for your brand colour? Tell us and we match it as near as the material lets us. Expect a small shift between screen and print either way: a screen shines light at you, while printed items reflect it. Make the artwork for these Correx signs the same size as the one you order, such as Bollards B (703 × 1482 mm).
What is the safest way to clean these Correx signs?
Treat Printed Bollard Covers gently: a soft cloth and soapy warm water, a rinse, then a dry. Strong cleaners, solvents and scourers can take the shine off the print or lift it, so leave them in the cupboard. Store spares flat, not leaning, to stop them bowing.
