Overview
Printed window graphics do two jobs at once: they tell passers-by who you are, and they make an empty pane look like part of the shop. A barber can put a round logo at head height on the door. A café can dress the big front window with a 1 m square showing what is on the menu. An estate agent can fill the gap between the property cards.
Size and shape first
There are three sizes, each as a square or a circle: 300 mm, 500 mm and 3 ft 3 in (1000 mm). You can also have a square with rounded corners, which looks softer on a boutique or salon window. Measure the pane, then pick the largest size that leaves a margin all round. For glass wider than 1 m, plan the design across several panels and order the quantity to match, anywhere from 1 to 100.
What matt vinyl means on glass
Every piece is printed on monomeric matt adhesive vinyl. The matt surface keeps glare down, so the print stays readable with sun on the window, and the adhesive back sticks straight onto clean glass. Monomeric vinyl is made for flat surfaces and shorter-term jobs: a seasonal promotion, a grand opening, or a look you plan to change next year.
Printed window graphics: artwork and fitting
Clean the glass, dry it fully, then smooth the vinyl on from the centre outwards with a card to push out air. Keep key words away from the edge of the cut shape. Upload a print-ready file, use the free online designer, or order the paid artwork service; a person checks every uploaded file for free. Our artwork guidelines explain bleed and safe areas.
Rules, timing and delivery
Adverts on business premises in England are covered by the Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) (England) Regulations 2007. Plenty of window displays need no application, but if you are unsure whether yours needs consent, ask your local council before it goes up.
Standard production is 6 working days after your order and artwork are confirmed, express from 5, saver 8. Your printed window graphics are made to order and dispatched from the UK, with UK mainland delivery at £7.95, free on orders of £100 or more after discounts (see delivery). Smaller pieces live in window stickers, and everything else in window graphics.

Questions
Quick answers about printed window graphics.
Can I order several window graphics at once?
Yes. Anything from 1 up to 100 is priced on this page. The price per piece usually drops as the number goes up, which helps clubs and shops ordering in bulk. Spend £100 on goods (design fees are not counted) and UK mainland delivery is free; otherwise it is £7.95 once.
Will someone look at my file before the shop window graphic is printed?
Yes. A person checks every file you upload before printing starts. Paid help is there too: a clean layout from your text and logo (£15), a design from your brief (£35) or a logo redraw (£30), each with one first draft and two rounds of changes.
Is the price shown for my shop window graphic order the full price?
Yes, for the goods. What the page shows is what you pay for the goods at checkout. Goods worth £100 or more travel free to a UK mainland address; below that, delivery is a flat £7.95 for the whole order.
Who handles my shop window graphic order?
FatPrint takes the order and a person checks your file before anything is made. Each window graphic is made to order for you, then sent by courier with tracking. Got a question first? Ask in the box on this page and a person answers.
How long until my shop window graphic order ships?
Express gets it out in 2 working days, Standard ships after 4 working days and Saver, the lowest price, after 6 working days. After that, allow 1 to 3 working days with the courier; you get tracking by email. Postage to the UK mainland is £7.95 per basket, not per item, and free when your goods total £100 or more.
Which options does this window graphic have?
9 sizes from 300 × 300 mm square to 2000 × 1000 mm, substrate (monomeric matt adhesive vinyl) and cut shape (square, circle or square with rounded corners). Every combination is priced on this page, from £5.65.
Asked by buyers
How much will Shop Window Graphics set me back?
£5.65 is where Shop Window Graphics start, set up as Monomeric matt Adhesive vinyl, 300 × 300 mm square and square on the Saver speed. Change the size, material, extras, quantity or speed and the total on the page moves straight away. The price you see is the price you pay at checkout, with delivery the only thing that can be added. Delivery anywhere on the UK mainland is £7.95 an order, and it costs nothing once the goods come to £100 or more after any discount code (design and artwork fees are not counted).
Is delivery ever free?
It is £7.95 for the whole order, not per item, and free once the goods reach £100 after any discount code; design or artwork charges are left out of that £100. On its own the opening price of £5.65 would add £7.95 for mainland delivery; reach £100 of goods and that goes to zero. A mainland Highlands postcode puts a single £10 on the order. Northern Ireland has its delivery priced before you pay, and so do the Channel Islands, the Scottish islands, Scilly, the Isle of Wight and the Isle of Man.
If I buy Shop Window Graphics today, when will they leave you?
As the page first opens, the speeds for Shop Window Graphics are Express 2 working days, Standard 4 and Saver 6, counting Monday to Friday and skipping bank holidays. The count begins once we have your order and a file ready to print. A bigger size or a different material can move it by a day either way; each speed shows its own days as you choose. Tracking arrives by email on the day it ships, and the courier usually takes one to three working days from there.
I cannot design at all. Can someone make the artwork for me?
Yes. When you choose the Artwork option you can pick from: send your own finished file (no charge), we set your words and logo on a tidy layout, called typesetting (£15), we design it from your brief (£35), we redraw a blurry or low quality logo as sharp vector art (£30) or we create a brand new logo (£50). Each fee is fixed, sits as its own line in your basket and covers every item on that line. Typesetting and design from a brief each come with one first draft and two rounds of changes. We print these window graphics on Monomeric Matt Adhesive Vinyl.
What are these window graphics made of, and which shapes can I have?
You pick the shape: square with rounded corners, circle or square. Whatever the shape, the print is full colour on Monomeric Matt Adhesive Vinyl. It is a self-adhesive, general-purpose film made for flat surfaces and for short or medium term use.
Which is the smallest and which the biggest window graphic I can order here?
Smallest: 300 × 300 mm square, from £5.65. Biggest: 2000 × 1000 mm, from £49.80. 7 more are listed in between, each priced on the cheapest options. Need something in between? Type in your own width and height, anywhere from 50 mm to 5000 by 1300 mm. Not sure which? Mark the space out with tape or string first and stand back to look.
Will these window graphics stay stuck on glass, plastic or a painted wall?
Yes, as long as the surface is smooth, clean and dry. Sealed wood, glass, plastics, painted metal and smooth painted walls all suit the adhesive. What it struggles with: rough texture, dust, grease and paint that has not fully cured. Clean the spot first using soapy warm water or a wipe of isopropyl alcohol, then wait until it is completely dry. We print these window graphics on Monomeric Matt Adhesive Vinyl.
How do I put these window graphics up straight, with no air trapped underneath?
Step one: clean and dry the surface. Step two: peel a little of the backing, get the sticker lined up and tack that edge down. Step three: pull the backing off slowly while a card presses the vinyl flat, working from the centre. Leftover bubbles can be pushed out sideways or pricked with a pin. Skip freezing glass and hot direct sunlight, as both make fitting harder. We print these window graphics on Monomeric Matt Adhesive Vinyl.
How much does a 1000 × 500 mm window graphic cost?
From £15.12, with the cheapest settings and the Saver service. Add £7.95 for UK mainland delivery, or nothing at all once the goods reach £100. Select it on the page and swap materials, finishes and speed to watch how the figure moves. Sizes for these window graphics go from 300 × 300 mm square at the small end to 2000 × 1000 mm, 9 in all.
Can a private person buy a single window graphic?
Yes. One is enough, and you do not need a business name or an account to check out. The opening price is £5.65, and any bank card will do. On its own the opening price of £5.65 would add £7.95 for mainland delivery; reach £100 of goods and that goes to zero. A person still checks your file before it is printed, just as for a big order.
Is there a minimum quantity for these window graphics?
The smallest order is 1 and the largest listed is 100; the list starts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 and carries on from there. The price on the page covers every item in that quantity. To compare two quantities fairly, split each total by its number. A bigger run than the list allows can be priced separately on our Get a quote page. Nothing is printed ahead of time: each window graphic is made to order for you.
Could the total go up after I reach the checkout?
The only thing that can join the goods price is delivery; the price you see is the price you pay at checkout. Delivery anywhere on the UK mainland is £7.95 an order, and it costs nothing once the goods come to £100 or more after any discount code (design and artwork fees are not counted). If you pick a paid design option, it sits in the basket as a separate line with its own fee, so every penny is listed before you pay. Sizes for these window graphics go from 300 × 300 mm square at the small end to 2000 × 1000 mm, 9 in all.
And the largest window graphic, 2000 × 1000 mm: how much is that one?
From £49.80, with the cheapest settings and the Saver service. Add £7.95 for UK mainland delivery, or nothing at all once the goods reach £100. Select it on the page and swap materials, finishes and speed to watch how the figure moves. Before delivery, these window graphics cost from £5.65.
Is there a quicker turnaround for these window graphics?
Work back from the day you need them. Express takes 2 working days to get Shop Window Graphics out, against 6 on Saver, and costs £7.52 on the opening option rather than £5.65. Add up to three working days for the courier, plus any time you need to finish the file. Cutting it fine? Put your date in the question box before you order.
I live in the Scottish Highlands. Will Shop Window Graphics cost more to send?
The whole UK is covered. Outside it, sadly, we cannot deliver. Mainland addresses in the Highlands pay one extra £10 on the order, even when delivery would otherwise be free. For Northern Ireland, and for the Channel Islands, the Scottish islands, Scilly, the Isle of Wight and the Isle of Man, we tell you the delivery cost before you pay, so message us your postcode on the Contact page or our Get a quote page. Choose Saver and these window graphics leave us after 6 working days; Express brings that down to 2.
Our wording is not finished yet. Can I still pay now and send it later?
Yes. Pay now and add the file afterwards: uploading after ordering is allowed, so you do not have to wait for the final version. If a volunteer, friend or designer is preparing it, they can send the finished file to you to upload, or get in touch through our Contact page quoting your order number. Nothing goes to print until the file arrives and has been checked, so if there is a date to hit, get the artwork over as soon as you can. We print these window graphics on Monomeric Matt Adhesive Vinyl.
Which file formats can I upload?
A PDF made at the size you ordered works best, with the fonts embedded or turned into outlines. AI, EPS and SVG are fine too, as are high resolution JPG, PNG or TIFF images. Word, PowerPoint or Canva designs can be used, but save them out as a full quality PDF where you can. Attach up to 3 files of up to 25 MB each on the product page, or order first and send them afterwards; we email you a link. Sizes for these window graphics go from 300 × 300 mm square at the small end to 2000 × 1000 mm, 9 in all.
How many pixels does a photo need to print well on these window graphics?
Roughly 7,874 pixels across and 3,937 down for a 2000 × 1000 mm design, which is 100 dpi. That is plenty for something people read from a few metres away; anywhere from 100 to 150 dpi at full size will do. Text and logos are safest as vector art, which never goes fuzzy. Pictures saved from a website or social media are nearly always too small, and our file check will point out any that could print blurred.
I am not a designer. What if the file I send turns out to be unusable?
You will not be left guessing. Each uploaded file is opened and looked over by a member of the team, and problems such as low-resolution pictures, no bleed or the wrong page size are sent back to you to fix before printing. If fixing it sounds like a chore, choose typesetting for £15: we lay out your text and logo, show you a first draft, then make up to two rounds of changes. We print these window graphics on Monomeric Matt Adhesive Vinyl.
Which cut shape would you suggest for Shop Window Graphics?
The cut shape option has 3 settings: square with Rounded corners, circle or square. Choose the shape every piece is trimmed to. Switch between them on the page and the total updates straight away, so you can see what each one adds. Sizes for these window graphics go from 300 × 300 mm square at the small end to 2000 × 1000 mm, 9 in all.
I run a small shop. Would these window graphics work on the front of it?
Yes, applied to a shop window or the glass of the door. As a guide, 1000 × 500 mm costs £15.12. Ask your landlord first, and the local council too if the sign is big or illuminated, as some shop signs need advertisement consent.
Do these window graphics go on the street side of the window or the inside?
The street side. The print sits on the face of the vinyl with the glue behind it, so it reads from the side you stick it on, which for passers-by means the outer surface of the glass. Out there it will see rain and window cleaning, so keep scrapers and strong cleaning products off it. Need it fixed on the inside so people read it through the window? Ask us before ordering, as that is set up differently. We print these window graphics on Monomeric Matt Adhesive Vinyl.
When the event or offer is over, will these window graphics peel off cleanly?
It can be taken down. A hairdryer softens the glue so the vinyl comes away in one piece; start at a corner and fold it back on itself slowly. Residue wipes off using isopropyl alcohol or a suitable adhesive remover. Painted surfaces: test on a small hidden area before you start. We print these window graphics on Monomeric Matt Adhesive Vinyl.
Next year we will want the same window graphic again. Is reordering easy?
Yes. Treat it as a fresh order of the same item with the same settings, and attach the file you used last time. Keep a copy of the print file in a shared folder so whoever orders next year can find it. Change any details that have moved on, such as a new email address or this year's date, before uploading. Before delivery, these window graphics cost from £5.65.
I am not sure which options to pick for these window graphics. Can someone advise me?
Of course. Tell us three things: where these window graphics will go, whether it is for one day or for years, and your deadline. Send that through the question box on this page or the Contact page, and a member of the team will suggest options. If what you need is outside the options listed, the Get a quote page lets you describe it and get a price. Nothing is printed ahead of time: each window graphic is made to order for you.
Can I buy Shop Window Graphics and other products in the same basket?
Yes. Different products, sizes and quantities can all sit in one basket, each as its own line with its own options. Delivery is charged once for the whole order, £7.95 to the UK mainland, and it is free when the goods reach £100 after discount codes. If two items share a design, choose the option to reuse artwork from another basket item and there is no second artwork fee. Nothing is printed ahead of time: each window graphic is made to order for you.
Which cards do you take, and is paying online safe?
You pay by debit or credit card when you check out, and you can do it as a guest without making an account. Card details are handled by Stripe, a specialist payment company, so the full card number never reaches us or sits on our system. Printing starts after payment goes through and your file has been checked. If your group needs a price agreed before anyone pays, ask for a quote instead. Before delivery, these window graphics cost from £5.65.
Our club needs a big batch of window graphics, or an odd size. Can you price it?
Check the page first: it takes your own measurements, anywhere from 50 mm to 5000 × 1300 mm, and prices them there and then. For anything the page cannot do, tell us the size, number, material, date and postcode on Get a quote, add a file if you have one, and we email a price back. Nothing is printed ahead of time: each window graphic is made to order for you.
Do I have to register before I can buy?
No. Guest checkout is fine, and card payments go through Stripe, so a debit card or a credit card both work. If you choose to open an account while checking out, My Account keeps your past orders. Guest or not, you get an email confirming the order and another with tracking once it is sent. Nothing is printed ahead of time: each window graphic is made to order for you.
Can I send these window graphics back if I no longer need them?
Not for a change of mind. These window graphics are made for your order, and goods made to your specification fall outside the 14-day cancellation right (reg. 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). You can still cancel and get all your money back before production begins. Anything faulty, damaged or wrong is covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and we reprint it or refund you. Sizes for these window graphics go from 300 × 300 mm square at the small end to 2000 × 1000 mm, 9 in all.
Can I swap my file once I have paid?
It depends on timing. Until production begins, a new file can replace the old one, or the order can be cancelled with a full refund; once it has begun, nothing can be changed. Message us straight away on the Contact page with your order number. Items printed exactly as supplied or designed do not count as faulty, so check names, numbers and dates first. Before delivery, these window graphics cost from £5.65.
Who looks after me once I have bought Shop Window Graphics?
You deal with FatPrint the whole way through. Once you order, somebody checks the artwork, Shop Window Graphics are printed specially for your order, and a courier delivers them with a tracking link by email. Need to ask something along the way? Use the question box here or the Contact page and a real person answers.
Our treasurer needs a receipt for the accounts. What do we get?
Every order gets a confirmation email listing what was bought, the options chosen and the amount paid, and a club, school or small firm can file that as its record of payment. What you pay for these window graphics is the price shown on the page plus any delivery charge, nothing more. If your accounts need a particular kind of invoice, ask through the Contact page before you order and we will tell you what we can provide. Before delivery, these window graphics cost from £5.65.
We need a few different designs. Do they each need their own order?
One checkout covers the lot. Add a basket line for every design, attach the right file to each, then pay once. You pay a single delivery charge of £7.95 for the whole order, or nothing if the goods add up to £100 or more. Repeating one design on another line? Choose the artwork choice that points to a file already in the basket, and no second design fee is charged. Sizes for these window graphics go from 300 × 300 mm square at the small end to 2000 × 1000 mm, 9 in all.
Can a volunteer order without setting up an account?
Yes. There is a guest checkout, so a one-off order does not need a login. Payment is by debit or credit card, processed by Stripe. The confirmation email that follows lists everything bought and what was paid, which helps when you claim the money back from the group. What the page shows is what the group pays, plus any delivery. Sizes for these window graphics go from 300 × 300 mm square at the small end to 2000 × 1000 mm, 9 in all.
The parcel turned up damaged. How do I sort it out?
Look everything over when it arrives. If something is damaged or missing, contact us within 48 hours through the contact form, with your order number and photos of both the item and the packaging. Please keep hold of it until we reply; we then sort out a reprint or a refund. Your legal rights stay the same, as the returns page sets out. Before delivery, these window graphics cost from £5.65.
Will my logo colours come out the same as on screen?
Very close, but not always identical. A screen glows, print reflects light, so a small difference is normal. Sending CMYK artwork keeps it nearest; RGB is changed to CMYK before printing and the brightest greens, blues and oranges can look a touch flatter. For an exact brand colour, give us the Pantone reference and we get as close as the material allows. Sizes for these window graphics go from 300 × 300 mm square at the small end to 2000 × 1000 mm, 9 in all.
I have never ordered printing before. Do I need to know the technical words?
No. A person on our team checks every file for size, bleed and resolution and tells you in plain words if anything needs changing. Or pick typesetting for £15 and we lay out your words and logo for you, with a first draft and two rounds of changes. Sizes for these window graphics go from 300 × 300 mm square at the small end to 2000 × 1000 mm, 9 in all.
Can I change the substrate on Shop Window Graphics?
It is the board or sheet your print is applied to. On Shop Window Graphics there is no choice to make: Monomeric matt Adhesive vinyl comes as standard. Your size, quantity and turnaround settle the final figure. Still torn between two? Type the question into the box on this page and a person will reply.
