Printed Lanyards

A lanyard does two jobs at once: it holds a pass where security can see it, and it carries your name round the building on everyone who wears one. Printed lanyards are the quiet workhorse of conferences, offices and festivals, and a well-designed one gets kept long after the event.

What you choose

• Material. White polyester.
• Size. 20 mm wide by 900 mm long.
• Sides printed. Single sided or double sided.
• Quantity. 50, 100, 200, 250 and up in steps to 10,000.

Single or double sided

Lanyards twist. With a single-sided print, half the room will be looking at the blank back at any moment. Double-sided printing puts your design on both faces, so the logo shows whichever way it turns. Single sided is fine for an internal staff pass where nobody is judging the branding.

Who orders printed lanyards

A conference organiser gives one to every delegate with the event name and hashtag. A hospital uses different designs to tell staff and volunteers apart. A school prints visitor lanyards in a design that is easy to recognise across the playground. A festival crew team wears them with the sponsor's logo. An office prints a run for new starters and building passes.

Upload your print-ready artwork when you order. At 20 mm wide, a repeating logo or a short name works far better than a long sentence. If the file needs reshaping for a strip this narrow, design help is available as an option at checkout.

Timing and delivery

Saver production is from 17 working days, so plan ahead for events; faster speeds are on the page. UK mainland postage is £7.95 per basket, not per item, and free when your goods total £100 or more. Highlands mainland addresses add £10; Northern Ireland and the islands are quoted first.
