What are stand-up pouches?
Stand-up pouches are the flexible bags with a folded base that lets them stand on a shelf. They look smart, store flat before filling and take up less room than jars or tins. Here is how the options work.
Sizes
- 100 ml, 90 × 160 mm. Samples, small treats, a single serving.
- 250 ml, 130 × 220 mm. The everyday retail size.
- 500 ml, 170 × 270 mm. Bigger bags for refills and bulk.
The base gusset, the fold that opens out so the pouch stands, comes as 30 + 30, 35 + 35 or 40 + 40 mm.
Material
Multilayer transparent film lets the contents show through. Multilayer paper and aluminium film gives a paper look outside with a foil layer inside. Multilayer barrier paper is the recyclable paper option.
Extras
- White ink. Selective white puts white under chosen parts of your design so colours stay solid on clear or foil material. Or choose none.
- Hole. A hang hole so the pouch can hang on a display peg.
- Closure. Add a closure so the pouch can be shut again after opening.
- Bottom customisation. Choose yes to customise the base of the pouch.
Who uses them
A bath salt brand selling at craft fairs. A coffee roaster packing beans for its website. A garden centre bagging seed mixes for hanging displays. A pet groomer selling own-brand treats at the counter. Quantities start at 100 and go up in hundreds to 1,000, then in thousands to 10,000.

What do buyers ask before ordering?
Quick answers about printed stand-up pouches.
What sizes are the pouches?
100 ml (90 × 160 mm), 250 ml (130 × 220 mm) and 500 ml (170 × 270 mm).
Can customers see the product inside?
Yes, if you choose the multilayer transparent film. The paper and aluminium option and the barrier paper option are not see-through.
What does selective white mean?
White ink is printed under chosen areas of your design so colours look solid on clear or foil material. Choose none if you do not need it.
Can the pouch be closed again after opening?
Add the closure option and the pouch can be shut again. Without it, the pouch has no closure.
What is the hole for?
A hang hole lets the pouch hang on a peg or hook display, which suits shops and garden centres.
What is the minimum order?
100 pouches. You can order in hundreds up to 1,000 and in thousands up to 10,000.
How long do pouches take?
Saver production is from 13 working days, and faster speeds are on the page. UK mainland postage is £7.95 per basket and free when goods total £100 or more.

How we handle reviews
Only people who bought the product can review it. Each review is checked against a real order and marked "Verified owner".
We publish every genuine review, good or bad, exactly as it was written. We never edit reviews or choose which ones to show. The only reviews we hold back are spam, abuse, or ones that include personal details like a phone number or email address.
The star rating is the average of every published review. We never pay for reviews or give discounts or gifts in return for them.
Reviews show the reviewer's first name and initial. To have your own review taken down, contact us.
